How to get fssai registration in only Rs. 308
For food license there are 3 different kinds of licenses
1.     Central License
2.     State License
3.     Registration
Here we are going to see the procedure for getting the registration license which is application for most of the small retailers, shops, hotels, Dhaba, restaurants and poultry shops. Please follow the steps carefully and its very easy to get it without going anywhere. Even you can fill it from you mobile also.
Step – I – Go to fssai website
Click on following link
·        Click on APPLY NOW
·        Accept the Declaration / Undertaking
·        Select the State for which you want to apply
·        If you are carrying out activity in more than one state then click YES else click NO. (We are going to say NO here because we want to help the small retailers who want the food license).
Step – II – Check Eligibility
There are different tabs like, Manufacturer, Importer, Other Businesses etc.
·    If you are a manufacturer You have to select the category of your business from Manufacturer tab.
For example- For Food processing, resellers, Re-Labelers, who are having their unit in single state and if their turnover doesn’t exceed 12 lacks/ Annum have to select Turnover not exceeding 12 lack/ Anuum.
·       If you are having following businesses-
Storage                                    Wholesaler
Retailer                                    Distributor
Food Vendor                           Supplier
Caterer                                     Dhaba
Canteen                                    Hotel
Fish/meat/poultry shop           Restaurant
Hawker                                    Tea shop
You have to select category of business from Other Businesses tab. And then select the option according to annual turnover of your business. For new businesses, you can select turnover up to 12 lacks/Annum for first year, and if it exceeds then you can apply for change in license.
* Her we will see the example of Retailer business with turnover up to 12 Lacks/Annum. Procedure remains similar for other businesses also.

·        Click Proceed
·        It will show you the license category
·        Click to Apply
Step – II – Online Data Entry
Click the suitable option to login. (We are going as a guest)
·        Click Continue
·        Applicant Details
o   Shop Name
o   Designation – whether individual or partner or secretary
·        Kind of business – Retail will be by default selected
o   Select a type of business from the list. If it not available click other and write your type of business
·        Address of food business
·        Correspondence Address- if you are living at same place of your business the select YES. If you are living at different place then select NO and write the address of you residence.
·        Contact Details – Write your phone number and contact person name.
·        Years you want to apply for – you can select from the dropdown for how many years you want this license.
·        Details of food item proposed to be manufactured or sold- You have to select from the drop down arrow the type of item you want to sell then click save and add. If you have multiple items then you can add more also.
·        Personal Identification details-
o   Upload Photo- Choose from your computer or mobile nd upload the photo.
o   Select the type of ID you are having as a soft copy.
·        Upload Supporting Documents-
o   To download the Declaration form click here.
o   Write your name and Sign on it
o   Upload its copy now
o   Similarly upload the NOC of your local governing body if you are having (You can skip it also).
·        Other Details
o   Date of starting a business
o   If Seasonal, select the opening and closing dates
o   Source of water supply – Select Public/Private
o   Whether electric power is used for manufacturing of food items- YES/NO
o   Click Save and Next
·        Below page will open – here we have to click on Print Form ‘A’

Once you click on this, it will open the form ‘A’ which is nothing but the information you filled up till now.
·        Take a print of this form and write place, date and sign on the form.
·        Scan the form and upload to the same page from where we have downloaded it.
·        Click Submit
Step – III – Online Payment
If you click on submit and your session expires then you can Re-login using the ID and Password send on your E-mail.
·        Then click on dashboard
·        Application Status – Incomplete
·        License type – Registration
·        State
·        District
·        Click Search- It will show the incomplete application
·        Click Proceed
·        Click save and next
·        Click upload again if it not visible and click submit
·        Select online payment through Razor pay
·        Make sure all the information is filled correctly because you can’t edit once you click proceed for payment.
·        Click ‘Proceed for Payment’ –
o   A payment window will be displayed
o   Select the option you want to use
o   If you select net banking select bank and click pay
o   Gateway charges and GST will be applied on the amount so total amount sums to Rs. 308.26. Isn’t it surprising? It’s too less.
·        Once you pay the amount you will get the acknowledge recipet.
·        You can check the status of your application by login in to your account from time to time.
·        It will take time of 15-20 days to get the license.

·        If there is any query you can see it in your login and you can comply to it and resubmit for approval.

  1. s to FMCG products but total turnover is more than 12 Lac per annum or you are a manufacturer of any FMCG product then you have to registered your firm under FSSAI act as Food License Registration in Jaipur.
